Hawaiian Print by Any Other Name

Sometimes you can tell how much someone likes what they're wearing by the pose they take.  This is a hip-cocking kind of dress -even if my Hawaiian Print expert informed me that it's not Hawaiian.

Horizontal Stripes

People can say whatever they want about vertical stripes, horizontal ones are the way to this girl's heart.  I loved this dress so much I even struck a power pose for the photo.

Pin Stripe Pamela

Again a dress with so much promise but then the chest area was weird.  I KNOW I don't have large boobs for my size, clothing makers, what is going on that you feel the need to make me understand what Pamela Lee goes through when buying clothes?

Silk Handkerchief Dress

Floral print and silky and spin-ny fun good times? Definitely the good.

Plaid Pocket Dress

This is why rule number 2 rocks.  It had so much promise and pockets (I love a dress with pockets!) but then the band at the top of the chest did so many wrong things that I know longer have an urge to know what a plaid potato sack looks like.

Everyone needs a pastel beach dress

I'm glad my phone case matches the tan lines :)  Also, I cannot emphasize how pretty this dress makes me feel.

Floral Motif? Don't Mind if I Do!

Fifty cent, possible lily-esque flower possibly painted by a famous artist, possibly painted by a six year old? Yes, please!  Plus it covers the scratch marks on the book shelf nicely.

Marilyn Dress

I like to think of this as my "What Would Marilyn Wear?" dress.  If she were here, and my size and maybe hadn't aged since the 50's.

She'd probably wear the white socks and glasses too.
